neeyo Group: DocuMatrix and Formware join forces

What started as meetings at trade fairs and tenders has evolved into a strategic partnership with a shared vision. The companies DocuMatrix and Formware have realized over the years what enormous potential there is in working together. Initial talks about a sales partnership began in August 2023 - it quickly became clear that the synergies would extend far beyond sales.

New brand with a long history

DocuMatrix, Founded in 1999, is an established software company with locations in Austria and Switzerland. The company specializes in business process management, complex data management and customer communication management . With an innovative product portfolio - from dynamic document creation and output management to electronic shelf labels - DocuMatrix automates communication processes at the highest level. Around 45 employees, mainly in research and development, drive the further development of the solutions.

Formware looks back on an even longer company history : Founded 1988 in the Upper Bavarian region , it is today one of the leading providers of automated output management and digital archiving. With over 3,000 customers and more than 35,000 users the company sets standards in terms of security, quality standards as well as scalability. Formware employs over 70 employees and convinces through flexibility, agility and an innovation-friendly corporate culture.

The merger of these two companies is more than just an economic decision — it's a strategic alliance that will impact the digital communication solutions market for years to come. Most importantly, it will offer customers and users new standards in efficiency, quality, and innovation.

The companies Formware and DocuMatrix will continue to operate as part of the OMS Group. The following individuals have been appointed to executive positions within the group: Markus Gruber and Steffen Böhringer as Co-CEOs and Thorsten Schatz as CFO.

Management functions in the combined companies will be retained, and more importantly, potential will be expanded in areas where the greatest expertise already exists, in order to retain and establish strong teams across locations. Promoting internal knowledge transfer will ensure that expertise and processes are passed on for optimal cross-border collaboration.
